Relaxation – Stress Relief

Stress is not solely an adult problem.

As adults, we think youngsters’ lives are filled with fun and are free of stress, but that’s not always the case.

Social pressures, academic pressures, home expectations, and many other factors, can contribute to a nervous system that’s stuck in fight or flight – and it’s not always apparent to us that our kids are stressed.

Relaxation seems foreign to many kids.

Kids don’t always know how to wind down and relax their nervous systems.

Breathing exercise and simple slow, mindful movements help retrain the mind/body connection, allowing your child to focus, feel better, and perform better.

Your child can learn to relax!

To support relaxation exercises and teach what it feels like to be relaxed, I sometimes like to use neuromodulation tools.

You might think of these tools as gadgets – that help regulate the nervous system and increase communication between the different body systems (e.g., heart, breath, and brain).

There are a few tools that I like for stress reduction and relaxation (which, by the way, often helps to improve focus and attention 😉.)

Let’s help your child reduce stress and relax!

I offer options and a guide that you can use with your child.

Rather than perusing the Internet for hours, let me help develop a protocol for your child.

This approach is less overwhelming.
