Paola and Abraham
My son Abraham had such attention issues that he could not sit through the assessment and perform well enough to get a score. His language was very low and he could not stay focused in class. After working with Valerie and doing neurofeedback training, he is now in a regular elementary school with no IEP and no “diagnosis”. Now he is a super star! His scores in all subject are all above average. We are so proud of him and we’re glad we could give him the support he needed when he was still young.

Beckye and Tyler and Jared
I have two sons who worked with Valerie and they both did the brainwave biofeedback training. My younger son Tyler had auditory processing, dyslexia, and attention difficulties. My older son Jared has autism. Although he is very bright, attending public school was so stressful for Jared that I had to pull him out and do home schooling. We discovered the clinic where Valerie worked and drove both boys almost 2 hours each way to bring the boys for their therapy sessions. It was totally worth it. Now both boys are doing great. Tyler is above average in reading. You should see the improvements in his test scores! He is able to complete all his assignments and he is getting great grades! Jared is ahead of his class mates. He started attending college classes early and is working on his eagle scout badge.

Yareni and Nikki
Valerie worked with my daughter Nikki here in Tucson. Nikki experienced oxygen deprivation during her birth and later was labeled as being autistic. Valerie was her speech-language therapist through a local clinic, but she also did neurofeedback with Nikki for a few months. When we could not continue with the neurofeedback, Nikki missed it. She said: “my brain needs tia (aunt) Val”.
With the neurofeedback training, Nikki became calmer and mastered a few multi-step skills seemingly overnight. For example, she borrowed her sisters scooter and successfully rode it by herself. Then, Nikki made her own toast. Instead of going into the kitchen and staring at the cabinet that held the toaster, she actually opened the door, pulled the toaster out, put her bread in and pushed the handle down. It was amazing to see her becoming so independent!
